Donor Recognition
JOCRF is deeply grateful to all of our supporters who have provided funding and guidance throughout our 100+ years of research and innovation in the aptitude testing space. We are especially thankful for two of our more recent partnerships.
The Endless Network
The Endless Network has a mission to unlock human potential through technology. We’re honored that they’ve recognized the role that digital aptitude testing could play in improving the lives and prospects of underserved communities.
The support we’ve received from the Endless Network over the past two years has made the creation of our first digital testing prototype possible. They’ve not only provided financial assistance but also invaluable guidance, leading us to connect with partners in the technology and nonprofit strategy spaces—Cloudberry Creative and Barry Joseph Consulting. Expanding into the digital sphere is an initiative we’ve long dreamed of, and it’s with thanks to the Endless Network that we were able to take these first steps. We’re grateful for their continued interest in and support for our work.
The Endeavor Foundation
(Formerly the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation)
The impact the Endeavor Foundation has had on JOCRF over the course of our 50-year relationship cannot be overstated. Their generous support under the leadership of Julie J. Kidd has funded research projects both large and small, including one of our most expansive research efforts in our history, which led to the isolation of aptitudes we still measure today—Number Facility, Number Series, Visual Designs and Color Discrimination.
Over the years they’ve been trusting and visionary partners, allowing us to pursue the creation of our popular vocabulary-building WordBook series in the early 1980s, as well as sponsoring testing for thousands of high school and college students who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to benefit from our service.
An Endeavor Foundation grant supported a preliminary exploration of digital testing in the 1990s. Decades later they continue to be future-looking partners who have provided additional support for our efforts to digitalize our current test battery to allow us to reach even more individuals with our service. We are deeply indebted to Julie J. Kidd and the Endeavor Foundation and thank them again for their unwavering belief in our work.
